If you run a business, then you are legally responsible for the correct storage, sorting and disposal of any waste that comes from it and a record of each transfer of waste for a minimum of two years.
So what actually counts as business waste?
The Uk Government stipulates that any waste that comes from a commercial activity is business waste.
This even extends to the waste generated in space you may use in your own home to run a business.
You are also responsible for ensuring that whoever disposes of your waste is legally allowed to take it.
